AUSTIN, TX, Dec 12, 2006 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Forgent Networks (NASDAQ: FORG) -- On Friday, December 8, 2006, the US Federal Court for the Eastern District of Texas issued an order relating to Forgent's infringement contentions in the 6,285,746 patent litigation. In addition, on November 20, 2006, the Court denied a motion to stay the litigation pending the outcome of the US Patent Office reexamination of the patent.
