NetSimplicity Launches Mobile Workforce Manager

AUSTIN, TX, Nov 28, 2007 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) -- Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR), a leading provider of workforce management software, today announced the general availability of Mobile Workforce Manager, a product that greatly streamlines and simplifies the scheduling of flexible workspaces for mobile workers.

Mobile Workforce Manager is a powerful web-based tool that allows mobile employees to reserve a workspace when traveling between facilities. This concept, which is often referred to as "office hoteling," allows companies to reduce real estate square footage costs by improving utilization of expensive workspace and offers employees the benefits of increasing mobility and flexibility. Mobile Workforce Manager, a complete office hoteling solution, helps users reserve workspaces and resources they may need ahead of time.

"We are very excited about the launch of Mobile Workforce Manager, as this is something that our customers have been asking us to bring to market," said Nancy Harris, Vice President and General Manager of NetSimplicity. "This product is a natural extension to our flagship product, Meeting Room Manager, in that it makes self-service scheduling of workspaces easy for mobile workers. In addition, the product enhances companies' bottom line through improved utilization of expensive workspaces."

Mobile Workforce Manager is the easiest-to-use, most flexible workspace scheduling and management offering available, and it can be used stand-alone or in tandem with NetSimplicity's Meeting Room Manager. When used in tandem with Meeting Room Manager, conference rooms can be reserved through Mobile Workforce Manager and the conference room reservation will be reflected in Meeting Room Manager and vice versa.

With Mobile Workforce Manager, the office floorplan is imported into the software, allowing users to see exactly where cubes, offices and conference rooms are located as well as equipment such as fax machines and printers. The visual aspect of the solution brings simplicity to the viewing and selection of the workspaces. A variety of filters are included, allowing employees to choose the workspace that best fits their needs.

Mobile Workforce Manager offers many benefits, not only to the mobile worker but to the company bottom line:

  • Employees can easily use their web browser to book a pre-defined
workspace prior to arriving at a given location

  • Users can select desired workspaces from a floor plan, calendar or
    list of available spaces

  • Phone extensions can automatically be routed to a designated workspace

  • Companies optimize the use of office real estate to maximize return on
    investment

  • Companies can determine space utilization and plan for future needs

Pricing for Mobile Workforce Manager, based on the number of cubes and offices that are to be managed, begins at $4,999. Optional services to set up and configure the components are available at additional cost.
